At Talladega College, you’ll notice that a strong emphasis is placed on the liberal arts throughout the course of study.
One of the many honors that have been bestowed upon Congresswoman Williams throughout her career is the selection of her as one of Georgia Trend’s 100 Most Influential Georgians, Forty Under Forty, Power 30 Under30, Outstanding Atlanta, and Who’s Who in Black Atlanta. This honor is just one of many that she has received. The honors and awards that have been bestowed upon her are extensive, and the ones that have been mentioned above are just some of them. These are merely a few of the many honors and accolades she has received throughout the course of her career. She has also been honored with a number of additional accolades. During her first year serving as a state senator, she was honored with two awards: the Freshman Legislator of the Year award from the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus and the 2020 Pinnacle Leadership Award from the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
